UK Police have launched a murd£r probe after a 19-year-old d!ed in a suspected st@bbing in a seaside town on Good Friday.
Kent Police were called to Belmont Road, Whitstable, amid reports of a serious assault on the residential street in the early hours of this morning.
A man was found with injuries consistent with stab wounds by emergency services, who arrived on the scene alongside police.
An air ambulance was also called to the incident, and landed nearby Westmeads Recreation Ground at around 3am.
Despite the efforts of medical staff, the 19-year-old was pronounced de@d at the scene.
A forensics tent has since been erected next to nearby flats on Belmont Road, with the road expected to remain shut for several hours.
A Kent Police spokesperson said: ‘Kent Police was called at 2.04am on Friday 3 April 2026, to reports of a serious assault on Belmont Road, Whitstable.
‘Officers and paramedics attended, and a 19-year-old boy sustained injuries consistent with stab wounds. He was confirmed deceased at the scene.’
