The critically acclaimed pan-African Nollywood thriller 3 Cold Dishes has officially expanded its global footprint, with the film now available for streaming across North America on Apple TV and Amazon Prime Video.

The release marks a major milestone for the project, which has continued to gain momentum since its theatrical debut on November 7, 2025.

Executive produced by Grammy-winning Nigerian superstar Burna Boy, the film has captured international attention for its gripping storytelling, standout performances, and socially conscious themes.

3 Cold Dishes tells the harrowing yet inspiring story of three women — Esosa, Fatouma, and Giselle — who were trafficked as teenagers across several African countries. Torn away from their families and forced into unimaginable circumstances, the trio’s lives are shaped by trauma, resilience, and their desire for justice.

Years later, fate brings them back together, and they decide to confront the powerful network of men who shattered their lives.

Their mission, carefully planned and emotionally charged, blends suspense, action, and a deep exploration of survival and empowerment. The film balances hard-hitting social commentary with gripping cinematic tension, making it both thought-provoking and entertaining.

Directed by Asurf Oluseyi and written by award-winning screenwriter Tomi Adesina, 3 Cold Dishes features a strong ensemble cast including Osas Ighodaro, Wale Ojo, Fat Toure, Maud Guerard, and Ruby Akubueze.

With dialogue spanning English, French, and Yoruba, the film embodies a truly pan-African vision, reflecting the diversity and interconnectedness of the continent’s experiences.

The thriller has already made a significant impact on the global awards circuit. At the 2025 Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA), it won three major categories:

Best Nigerian Film, Achievement in Production Design, and Best Young/Promising Actor for Ruby Akubueze. Osas Ighodaro earned a Best Actress nomination at the Septimius Awards, while Tomi Adesina received a nod for Best Screenplay.

The film also secured the Best World Film award at the Harlem International Film Festival, further cementing its international credibility and appeal.

With this North American streaming rollout, 3 Cold Dishes is now positioned to reach an even wider audience. Viewers across the U.S. and Canada can now experience the film’s powerful message, its emotional depth, and its high production quality from the comfort of their homes.

The film’s availability on two major platforms also signals a growing global appetite for Nollywood stories, particularly those that are bold enough to tackle sensitive issues with honesty and artistic excellence.

As 3 Cold Dishes continues to gain recognition, its release on Apple TV and Prime Video stands as another major win for African cinema   one that highlights the industry’s evolution, resilience, and undeniable global relevance. For viewers seeking a gripping thriller rooted in real-world issues and captivating performances, this is one film not to miss.
