Some women say checking your husband’s phone is unnecessary and only gives you headaches. But let me share a chilling story that proves otherwise.
Last week Friday, around 10 p.m., a very close friend of mine ran to my house in tears. She revealed something unbelievable: her husband had been cheating on her for two years. She knew about it but chose to ignore it, focusing instead on her job and their daughter.
However, that Friday afternoon, something happened that she couldn’t overlook. Around 3 p.m., her husband was in the bathroom getting ready to go out. While he was showering, a message popped up on his phone. Out of curiosity, she read it.
The message read:
“Rub that thing on your D and make sure you have sex with her afterward. Use a white handkerchief to clean her private part. By then, she’ll be unconscious. Leave the environment immediately.”
She was horrified. Before this, her husband had been telling her he was traveling that Friday night. Without making a scene, she snapped a picture of the message, copied the sender’s number to her phone, and checked it on WhatsApp. To her shock, it was the same woman her husband had been flirting with.
Instead of confronting him, she acted as though nothing was wrong. Calmly, she picked up her wallet and told him she needed to get eggs from a nearby poultry. He casually told her not to stay long because he wanted to spend “quality time” with her before leaving.
Seizing the moment, she grabbed her daughter and ran straight to my house.
Two days have passed since she left, and her husband hasn’t even called to ask about her whereabouts. Not once.
Now, imagine if she hadn’t checked his phone. What could have happened to her? It was a narrow escape, and it’s a terrifying reminder of the risks some women face.
