Officials take part in an investigation at the site where a Jeju Air Boeing 737-800 aircraft crashed and burst into flames at Muan International Airport in Muan, some 288 kilometres southwest of Seoul on January 1, 2025
The Chief Executive Officer of South Korean airline, Jeju Air, Kim E-bae has been banned from leaving the country, police said Thursday, after one of the company’s planes crashed last week killing 179.
“The… investigation team imposed a travel ban on two individuals, including Jeju Air CEO Kim E-bae,” said police in South Jeolla Province, where the crash in Muan City happened.
