Renowned Yoruba movie actor Kehinde Lawal has opened up about the profound experience that led him to convert from Islam to Christianity, despite being born a Muslim. He also shared how his spiritual vision has enabled him to assist others in overcoming difficult situations.
In an interview with media personality Damilola Banire, featured on the official YouTube channel of Oyinmomo TV, Kehinde revealed that his decision to convert was inspired by a dream he had while praying in a mosque.
Recounting the experience, he said:
*”Many people in my former neighborhood knew me as a devout Muslim. However, everything changed after a dream I had while sleeping in the mosque. One day, I went to pray at the mosque and fell asleep. In my dream, I found myself sitting beside a man dressed in a white garment inside a bus. He handed me a Bible and instructed me to convert to Christianity.
When I woke up, I sought the guidance of a prophet to understand the meaning of the dream. The prophet confirmed that I must convert to Christianity to fulfill my destiny in life.”*
Kehinde also spoke about how this life-changing experience has given him a unique perspective and the ability to help others find solutions to their challenges.
