Salome: “Nigeria Should Help Me, and I Beg Her Family in the Name of God,” Says Timileyin Ajayi’s Father

The father of gospel singer Timileyin Ajayi, who has been accused of the death and mutilation of his alleged girlfriend, Salome, has spoken out about how he perceived his son before the unfortunate incident.

In a video shared by AIT News, the father recounted that his son had been performing well in school before pursuing his passion for music. He revealed that Timileyin had expressed a strong interest in singing, which brought him immense joy.

He stated that he had encouraged his son to acquire a trade alongside his musical pursuits. However, the news of the alleged murder has left him deeply shaken and distressed.

The grieving father also extended an emotional plea to the family of the slain corps member, asking for forgiveness and expressing his unhappiness over the tragic turn of events.

In his words, “My son was in school and excelled academically. He told me he wanted to sing, and I was happy. I advised him to learn a trade in addition to his singing ability, but what I am hearing about him now has scared me. Nigeria should help me, and I beg her family in the name of God, because I am also not happy.”
