Veteran Yoruba movie actress, Lola Thompson, has revealed some of the harrowing experiences she endured in the Yoruba movie industry at the hands of an actor. She recounted how she mysteriously fell in love with the actor, who abducted her for several years.
In a video posted on the official YouTube channel of Kunleafod TV during an interview, she disclosed that an actor charmed her to forcefully make her fall in love with him. According to her, he abducted her and kept her locked in his house for seven years.
In her statement, she said:
“When I was featured in a movie where I played the lead role, an actor saw me in the movie, and he was surprised by my performance. He invited me to do a stage play with him, and I accepted the offer. An actor used a charm to have sex with me, and he locked me in his house for seven years. It got to a point where he didn’t allow me to go out. My boss, who brought me into the movie industry, couldn’t see me anymore. He didn’t allow any friends or family to have access to me.”
“I was living in bondage until one day when the charm stopped working, and I ran away from his house. He started looking for me everywhere, threatening my life with hoodlums. He said I should never return to the movie industry if I didn’t go back to his house.”
