John Wachira has painfully narrated how he regrets allowing his wife to be with another man while they were still married. He made this decision after falling sick for a long time, but it ultimately led to his wife’s departure.
According to John, after finishing high school, he enrolled in a driving school and later secured a job in the transport industry as a driver.
While working there, he met his wife, who was selling pineapples at a bus stage. They fell in love, got married, and were blessed with four children. Their life was happy and peaceful until he fell ill, which completely changed everything.
John vividly remembers the day his sickness began. He noticed three doves that kept coming into his compound. No matter how many times he chased them away, they refused to leave. That night, his legs started itching, and within a week, he could no longer walk properly. He decided to go to the hospital, but after several tests, all results came back negative. That was when his nightmare truly began.
As years passed, his condition worsened. He had to use crutches to walk, and eventually, his health deteriorated to the point where he could no longer satisfy his wife in the bedroom.
Since he was unable to work, his wife became the sole provider for the family. However, over time, she started disrespecting him because of his weakness. Feeling powerless and wanting to keep his family together, he made the painful decision to allow his wife to be with another man to satisfy her needs.
Unfortunately, things did not go as he had hoped. After a while, his wife changed completely. She eventually left him for the other man, abandoning him with their children.
John says he was devastated, but with the help of a local leader, he managed to raise his kids on his own.
