When I was 7Yrs Old, Boko Haram killed My Parents In Front Of Me, And Forced Me To – Victim

Mustapha Bukar has shared his painful experience of losing his parents during a Boko Haram terrorist attack in Borno.

Speaking in an interview with Channels TV, Bukar disclosed that he was just seven years old when he witnessed the tragic event. He said his mother and father were killed right in front of him by the insurgents. This happened in Bama Local Government Area, a place severely affected by the crisis.

Bukar revealed that after his parents were killed, he embarked on a long and difficult journey. He explained that he had to walk all the way from Bama to Konduga town, a distance of about 25 miles, in just one day.

In Bukar’s words:

“When I was 7 years old, I saw both of my parents killed in my presence. That happened to me in Bama Local Government Area of Borno State during the Boko Haram insurgency. Then, we trekked from Bama to Konduga, which is 25 miles, in a day.”
