Ganduje’s Exit: Yahaya Bello’s APC Chairmanship Posters Flood Abuja, “Silence No Longer an Option”

According to a NewsVista reporter, former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has strongly denied any connection to campaign posters linking him to the APC national chairmanship, which recently appeared across Abuja.

In a statement released by his media office on Thursday, Bello’s spokesperson, Michael Ohiare, described the posters as a “desperate stunt” by mischief makers trying to stir controversy within the party. He added that those familiar with Yahaya Bello know his loyalty to the APC and President Bola Tinubu’s leadership is “unshakable.”

This development comes shortly after Abdullahi Umar Ganduje resigned as the APC national chairman, citing health reasons — a move that has triggered political speculations ahead of the 2027 elections.

Ohiare insisted that no one was authorised, either directly or indirectly, to print or paste any campaign material on Bello’s behalf. “Silence is no longer an option,” he said, warning the public to disregard attempts to misrepresent Bello’s political intentions.

The statement emphasized that party procedures remain intact, and the former governor has no part in any unauthorized campaign activities.
