Political analyst Chris Maduka has raised eyebrows over the growing influence of Minister of the FCT, Nyesom Wike, within the PDP. Speaking with our reporter on Signature TV, Maduka questioned how one man could openly challenge a major political party without facing strong pushback.
“For one man to have such courage and keep hitting his chest, something gave him confidence,” Maduka said.
He explained that Wike’s bold criticisms and assertive stance have not only rattled the PDP but also revealed cracks in the party’s leadership. According to Maduka, the inability of the party to respond decisively suggests internal compromises, leaving it open to manipulation.
“The confidence we see in Wike didn’t come from nowhere. It’s a product of internal decay and political compromises that have eaten deep into the PDP structure,” he added.
Maduka warned that unless the PDP confronts these contradictions, the party risks further decline ahead of upcoming elections, while Wike’s influence continues to grow.
