According to our report, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), recently shared a shocking real-life story that left his congregation speechless.
In a message captured in a YouTube sermon, Pastor Adeboye narrated how a powerful senator once vowed that an RCCG church in his territory would never be dedicated—except over his dead body.
Adeboye said he received a letter from members of the church expressing fear over the man’s threat. But rather than panic, the pastor simply told them, “We will still dedicate the church. He has already declared how it will happen.”
According to him, on the morning of a crucial meeting meant to stop the church, the senator mysteriously died after falling while getting dressed. “By the time they got him to the hospital, he was pronounced dead on arrival,” Adeboye said.
The respected cleric clarified that he had no hand in the man’s death, saying, “I was in Nigeria, thousands of miles away. He killed himself with his own words.”
Adeboye concluded that the incident proves that God fights for His own, saying, “That is what it means to be more than a conqueror — you don’t have to fight; God handles it.”
