General Christopher Musa, the immediate past Chief of Defence Staff, delivered an emotional farewell address during his official pulling-out parade, marking the end of his long and distinguished military career.

In a heartfelt moment captured by Channels Television, General Musa expressed deep gratitude to his wife, Mrs. Oghogho Lilian Musa, and their children, describing them as his “fortress and sanctuary.” He revealed that their unwavering love and support kept him strong through years of sacrifice, separation, and danger.

“My dear wife, Mrs. Oghogho Lilian Musa, and my wonderful children have been my fortress and sanctuary,” he said, his voice filled with emotion.

The retired General went on to praise his family as the unsung heroes of his journey, acknowledging their patience and endurance as vital pillars that made his service to Nigeria possible.
