I Told Him (Diri) That It Took The Grace Of God For Me To Forgive Him–George

According to our report, Chief Bode George, PDP chieftain, has expressed confidence in the party’s resilience, likening it to an eagle that retreats to regain strength before soaring higher.

Addressing defections of governors and key members to the APC, George stressed that individual departures cannot weaken the PDP’s foundation. “The party is built on strong ideals that go beyond personal ambitions,” he said, comparing the PDP to an Iroko tree that may lose its leaves but will never fall.

On internal challenges, George reflected on past setbacks, including poorly managed congresses in Lagos overseen by Douye Diri, describing the process as shambolic. Despite this, he emphasized forgiveness and moving forward.

Chief George concluded that the PDP remains committed to renewal, restructuring, and restoring its place in Nigeria’s political landscape, proving that defections will not define the party’s future.
