Kwankwaso’s Advise To Tinubu Government After Trump Labels Nigeria “A Country of Particular Concern”

According to our report, former Kano State governor and NNPP chieftain, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has offered guidance to the Tinubu administration following U.S. President Donald Trump’s designation of Nigeria as “a country of particular concern.”

Kwankwaso emphasized that while the U.S. can make observations, Nigeria remains a sovereign nation facing diverse security challenges that affect citizens regardless of religion, ethnicity, or politics. He urged the U.S. to assist with advanced technology and intelligence rather than actions that could deepen divisions.

Advising the federal government, Kwankwaso recommended appointing seasoned envoys and permanent ambassadors to safeguard Nigeria’s interests and strengthen diplomatic relations. He also called on Nigerians to remain united and prioritize national cohesion amid internal and external pressures.
