Hamas Drops Bold Statement On Looting Allegations, Says The United States Lied Against Them

According to a report by The Times of Israel on November 2, 2025, Hamas has strongly denied U.S. claims that its members looted a humanitarian convoy in Gaza, calling the allegations “false and politically motivated.”

The group’s statement came after the U.S. Central Command released drone footage purportedly showing Hamas operatives stealing aid supplies from a relief truck in Khan Younis.

Hamas dismissed the footage as “fabricated propaganda,” accusing Washington of leading a smear campaign to justify its continued military involvement in the region.

“The U.S. lied against us,” Hamas declared, insisting that no member of the group took part in any looting. The organization claimed the incident was manipulated to tarnish its image and distract from what it described as “ongoing humanitarian crimes against Palestinians.”

Meanwhile, the U.S.-led Civil-Military Coordination Centre in southern Israel—tasked with overseeing aid delivery and ceasefire compliance—has maintained that the footage is authentic and that it will continue to monitor activities within Gaza.
