Apostle Johnson Suleman has taken aim at Nigerians living overseas, accusing them of hypocrisy for telling citizens at home how to fix the country. Speaking at the Recovery Conference in Benin, streamed live on YouTube, Suleman condemned diaspora Nigerians who comfortably live in Europe or Canada yet instruct locals to protest or abandon prayer.
“The one that gets me angry is seeing people living abroad telling us what to do in Nigeria. If it’s so safe, buy a ticket and come,” he said.
Suleman argued that true change requires active engagement, not distant criticism. He urged overseas Nigerians to understand local realities, collaborate constructively, and contribute meaningfully rather than mocking those enduring struggles on the ground.
