Gunmen suspected to be Lakurawa terrorists have k!lled a Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) officer at a checkpoint in Maje community, Bagudu Local Government Area of Kebbi State.
Journalist Bakatsine, who confirmed the incident, said that the terrorists attacked the checkpoint on Saturday night, November 8, 2025, k!lling the officer identified as DSC .S. Mohammed.
“One Customs officer was confirmed k*lled during the attack. The attackers reportedly arrived on motorcycles and opened fire before withdrawing towards the border forests,” he wrote.
Residents report heightened fear and movement restrictions as the group continues to assert presence across rural communities in Bagudu LGA, exploiting the remote terrain along the Nigeria–Benin and Nigeria-Niger borders corridor.
