According to our report, political analyst Chief Dan Ulasi has raised alarm over the escalating violence in Plateau State, warning that the government’s silence could further endanger innocent lives. Speaking during an interview on Symfoni TV, Ulasi revealed that several Catholic and Anglican bishops have openly condemned the ongoing attacks in the region.
“I have seen bishops making speeches from Plateau saying that there are killings going on there,” Ulasi said, noting that the clergy’s outcry reflects the severity of the crisis and the fear gripping local communities.
He faulted both state and federal authorities for failing to act decisively, saying the lack of response undermines public confidence and threatens national unity. Ulasi called for immediate security reinforcement, proper investigations, and the prosecution of perpetrators to restore peace.
