Our People Are Dying, and Tinubu Is Silent — Laolu Akinde Tells Nigerians to Use America’s Help”

According to our report, Laolu Akinde has called on Nigerians to take former U.S. President Donald Trump’s comments on the country’s insecurity seriously, viewing them as a chance to act rather than a threat.

Speaking on Inside Sources, Akinde highlighted the alarming rise in killings, kidnappings, and displacement, stressing that “our people are dying while Tinubu remains silent.” He urged the government to leverage international support to protect citizens.

Akinde noted that Trump’s warning should serve as a wake-up call for President Bola Tinubu, pointing to years of poor coordination and weak international representation. He revealed that Tinubu has begun consultations with traditional and religious leaders, including the Sultan of Sokoto and the Archbishop of Abuja, to address insecurity.

He called on the president to be firm with the new service chiefs, warning that “the days of appeasing terrorists are over,” and described this moment as a chance for Nigeria to reclaim its narrative globally.
