“Nigerians Can Solve Their Problems internally, We do not need External Control” – Oba Rashidi urges

According to our report, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, has urged Nigerians to unite against terrorism and address the root causes of insecurity without external interference.

Speaking while receiving Bishop Francis Wale Oke of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Oba Ladoja highlighted the decade-long struggle with violence, which has claimed lives, displaced families, and destroyed property despite successive government efforts.

The monarch emphasized that terrorism is indiscriminate, affecting all Nigerians regardless of religion or ethnicity, and called for collective action and prayer to restore peace. He praised the South-West’s history of Muslim-Christian harmony as a model for the nation.

Responding to U.S. military intervention rumors, Oba Ladoja insisted that Nigeria’s challenges must be resolved internally through cooperation and understanding. His message underscores unity, collaboration, and local solutions as the path to lasting national stability.
