Primate Elijah Ayodele has issued a stern warning to members of the Obidient movement, describing their current political approach as misguided and potentially self-defeating. Speaking in a recent address, the cleric cautioned that the movement’s chosen path could lead to setbacks.
“They are joking,” Ayodele said, emphasizing that the strategy pursued by the Obidient supporters is unrealistic and fraught with risk. He explained that the group has “entered one way,” using the analogy to highlight a narrow, restrictive path with little room for maneuver.
Ayodele further stressed the consequences of persisting on this course. “And when you have entered one way, what will happen? They will arrest you,” he stated, suggesting that the movement’s actions could result in unavoidable challenges or repercussions.
