A woman from Nyeri County has shared how she has battled unsettling spiritual experiences since her teenage years, saying the encounters have affected her wellbeing, marriage, and relationships. Her story has drawn attention online as she appeals for genuine spiritual guidance and support.
According to her account, she was raised by a single mother before joining a blended family—an experience she says came with feelings of rejection from both her stepfather and her step‑siblings. She recalls that during this period, she began experiencing disturbing night-time episodes that left her frightened and confused.
She says she repeatedly tried to report what she was going through, but her mother initially dismissed the experiences as dreams. By the time she turned sixteen, she began waking up in a distressed state, prompting her family to seek prayers, though she says the situation did not improve.
In an attempt to find stability, she married soon after completing secondary school. However, she explains that the strange episodes persisted, leading to emotional strain and a noticeable change in her relationship with her husband.
