Isaac Fayose has taken aim at his brother, former Governor Ayo Fayose, over claims that Olusegun Obasanjo is “not important,” despite allegedly paying $20,000 to have the former president attend his 65th birthday celebration.
In a video shared on his verified Facebook page on Friday, November 28, 2025, Isaac highlighted that Ayo reportedly did not invite their mother, who lives nearby in Ikeja, even as he went to great lengths to secure Obasanjo’s presence.
Isaac said, “So if you are saying Obasanjo is not important, that Obasanjo is agbaya, but you paid 20 thousand dollars to invite the agbaya to the party. I am addicted to the truth and I can’t see white and call it black. For you to go and invite OBJ, even the mother that gave birth to you, live very close to you in Ikeja there, you forgot to invite her but you are happy to invite OBJ. That means OBJ is very important.”
