‘Four Bible Chapters Where No Sin Was Recorded’ — Pastor Kumuyi Reveals

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi, General Superintendent of Deeper Christian Life Ministry, has identified four chapters in the Bible where no sin is recorded, offering believers a glimpse into God’s perfect design for humanity. He shared these insights during a recent YouTube sermon on biblical revival, spiritual renewal, and God’s eternal purpose.

According to Kumuyi, many Christians misunderstand revival because they lack a clear scriptural framework to recognize it. He explained that true revival is measurable when the church reflects the purity and order seen in the Bible before the fall of man. “Our preparation and God’s provision must meet,” he said, stressing that revival involves cooperating with God’s purpose.

The pastor revealed that the only chapters without any record of sin are Genesis 1 and 2, and Revelation 21 and 22. He described these as bookends of human history—Genesis showing God’s perfect creation, and Revelation revealing His restored kingdom. “In the first two chapters of the Bible, there was no sin, no suffering, no sickness, and no satanic subjugation because God created everything perfect. In Revelation 21 and 22, the same conditions reappear,” he said.

Kumuyi noted that humanity currently lives in the space between these chapters, an era characterized by sin, corruption, and spiritual challenges. He emphasized that the mission of Jesus Christ began the process of restoring what was lost in Eden and will ultimately be perfected in eternity.

He added that real revival becomes evident when sin is subdued, satanic influence is weakened, and believers increasingly mirror the purity portrayed in these sinless chapters. Quoting Jesus, he reminded listeners: “Upon this rock I will build my church,” highlighting the church’s role in restoring God’s original plan for the world.
