Faustin, popularly known as Baba Talisha, met his late wife through a mutual friend on social media. Despite an initial hesitation from her side, they eventually connected, dated for two years, and later married. The couple was blessed with a daughter, and life seemed joyful and promising.
According to Faustin, one day his wife shared an article about a man whose wife had tragically died shortly after marriage. They briefly discussed the story, not realizing that their lives would soon be shaken.
A few days later, while returning from a family photo session, their vehicle was involved in an accident. Both Faustin’s wife and child were seriously injured. His wife passed away at the hospital, while their daughter spent 23 days in the ICU, recovering from the trauma.
Faustin describes the day as the worst of his life but says he has since learned to navigate life as a single parent. Over the past five years, he has devoted himself to raising his daughter, managing school routines, and continuing his work as a professional photographer. Today, he has healed and found love again, while cherishing the memories of his late wife.
