popular Nollywood actor Antar Laniyan has opened up about the extraordinary circumstances surrounding his birth, revealing the challenges his mother faced before finally giving birth to him.
In a recent interview posted on the official YouTube channel of Behind The Fame TV, Laniyan shared that his mother endured a prolonged pregnancy and took unusual steps before he could be born.
Laniyan explained that he stayed in his mother’s womb for 18 months. “I overstayed in my mother’s womb,” he said, adding that his mother faced growing concern from relatives and friends who wondered why the pregnancy was unusually long.
He further revealed that his mother sought spiritual consultation, which uncovered a supernatural reason for the delay. As part of the remedy, his mother had to eat something called Antar, which resembled a small lizard, before she could give birth. “My mom didn’t see anything wrong in adding Antar to my name, and that was where I got the name from,” Laniyan noted.
