Bishop David Oyedepo, founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, has reiterated that those who genuinely know God do not rely on human help to fulfil their destiny. Speaking during the 5th Pre-Shiloh Encounter Service at Faith Tabernacle, Canaanland, he stressed that divine assistance surpasses all human support, noting that his ministry has thrived solely on trust in God’s sovereignty.
In his message, Bishop Oyedepo stated, “Those who know God don’t beg men. I have no human helper; ‘Whatever God cannot do, let it remain undone’ has been my stand.” The declaration drew applause from thousands of worshippers who resonated with the call to absolute dependence on God rather than on earthly systems.
He explained that a true understanding of God’s power frees believers from seeking human approval, emphasizing that many failures occur because people lean on individuals or structures that are inherently fallible. According to him, cultivating intimacy with God enables a life marked by rest, courage, and unstoppable progress.
Bishop Oyedepo also shared testimonies from the early days of his ministry, highlighting how major projects were achieved without human intervention. He encouraged worshippers to prepare for Shiloh 2025, describing it as a season of supernatural encounters, breakthroughs, and divine direction. The theme, “Breaking New Grounds,” signifies a period of unprecedented empowerment that human effort alone cannot achieve.
Attendees of the service expressed how the message strengthened their faith and provided reassurance that divine help remains dependable in a world where many compromise to gain favor.
