What God Told Me About Remi Tinubu— Primate Ayodele Reveals

Nigerian cleric, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has criticised the First Lady and members of the Senate over what he described as insensitive displays of celebration at a time when many citizens are struggling with economic hardship and rising insecurity.

During a live prophetic broadcast on Facebook, Ayodele condemned a recent social event reportedly held for lawmakers. He argued that such gatherings send the wrong message at a time when Nigerians are facing serious challenges that require sober leadership and moral responsibility.

According to him, this is “not the time to dine and whine,” stressing that public officials must reflect the reality of the nation. He added that the First Lady’s involvement in such engagements suggests a disconnect from the difficulties faced by ordinary citizens.

Ayodele expressed concern that rising inflation, insecurity, and worsening living conditions demand deliberate action and empathy from those in power. He questioned why political leaders would prioritise social outings instead of addressing urgent national issues.

The cleric called on the presidency and lawmakers to adopt spiritual measures by organising national prayers and fasting sessions. He noted that true leadership requires both governance and moral alignment, especially in turbulent times.
