Former SDP presidential candidate Prince Adewole Adebayo has weighed in on the viral confrontation between Minister Nyesom Wike and a military officer, stressing that both parties would face jail if the case were taken to court. His comments, shared in a Symfoni TV video on Monday, December 1, 2025, underscore concerns about accountability, governance, and the rule of law in Nigeria.
Adebayo argued that the altercation reflects a broader national problem, where government officials often operate above the law while security personnel sometimes act beyond constitutional limits. “The encounter between Wike and the soldier, if taken to court, both of them will go to jail,” he stated, highlighting the need for equal application of justice.
