Ann from Nakuru has revealed the challenges she faced in her marriage, including her husband asking her to get another man to impregnate her after two years of trying to conceive. She ultimately left the marriage, raising her two children independently.
Ann grew up with her grandmother as an only child. Her mother was a single parent, and Ann experienced trauma early in life, becoming pregnant after a rape incident, which later resulted in a miscarriage.
She met her future husband through her mother, who presented him as someone offering her employment in Naivasha. Upon arrival, the man revealed that he intended to marry her, and Ann agreed, not wanting to return to her village. Initially, she suffered health complications after their first intimate encounter, and two years passed without pregnancy.
Faced with pressure from her husband, he reportedly suggested she find another man to conceive. Ann complied, forming a relationship in her husband’s village that resulted in pregnancy. Her husband was reportedly pleased with the outcome, though he did not engage in the pregnancy himself. She gave birth to a girl and named her after her husband’s mother. Later, a second pregnancy occurred with the same man, and while her husband initially resisted, he eventually accepted the situation.
Ann also disclosed family complications, learning that her husband may have had a prior relationship with her mother, which caused additional tension and health concerns during her marriage. Concluding that the environment was unhealthy, Ann left the marriage, renting a small home where she now lives with her two children.
