Fast-rising Nollywood actor Olamilekan Ayinla, popularly known as Lekan 220, has shared his deep admiration for veteran actor Ibrahim Chatta, sparking online reactions with his bold remarks.
In an interview on Jeff Owolewa TV, Lekan 220 described Chatta as one of the most talented actors in the Yoruba movie industry, saying his respect for him is so strong that even hypothetical personal betrayals would not diminish it.
In a lighthearted moment, Lekan jokingly said that if Chatta were ever involved in a secret romantic affair with his mother, he would choose forgiveness and prevent any reaction from his father. “I told him, ‘No, I love him more.’ Even if Ibrahim Chatta sleeps with my mother, I will forgive him—and I won’t allow my father to react. That’s how much I love him,” he said.
The actor also named Ibrahim Chatta and Saidi Balogun as two performers whose skill and versatility he considers unmatched in the Nigerian film industry.
