Nigeria’s newly nominated Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa, has called on Christians to remain steadfast and fearless in expressing their faith, during a recent address at the Conquerors Global Assembly.
Speaking at the Bishop David Abioye-led church, the former Chief of Defence Staff encouraged believers not to shy away from publicly demonstrating their commitment to Christ. He stressed that faith should never be hidden for personal or temporal gain.
In a video shared by Church Gist on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, Musa said: “I want to call on all of us as Christians never to be timid. Never shy away from showing that you are a Christian and that you follow Christ, wherever you are.” He reminded the congregation of the biblical consequences of being ashamed of one’s faith.
Musa also credited Bishop Abioye’s prayers for positively influencing his life and career, noting that his wife’s own faith has been a source of inspiration. He emphasized unity and persistent prayer for Nigeria’s security and prosperity, while assuring attendees that the armed forces remain committed to protecting the nation.
