Senior Pastor Dr. Paul Enenche has shared a testimony highlighting what he described as the impact of spiritual support on national security efforts, recounting how a Nigerian military officer reportedly experienced protection and success in operations after receiving anointing at his church.
According to a video published by Church Gist on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, Pastor Enenche explained that a senior officer of the Nigerian Army—then a Lieutenant Colonel and now a Major General—visited the Dunamis International Gospel Centre before returning to his base in Borno State. The cleric said the officer was anointed with oil during the service.
Pastor Enenche narrated that the officer later applied the anointing oil on himself and on the equipment of his troops. He claimed the battalion eventually recorded significant operational success, including the recovery of items from hostile groups in the area.
He further added that the officer had also testified to experiencing protection during an ambush, insisting that he remained unharmed despite coming under attack. The pastor noted that he intentionally withheld the officer’s name out of respect for military protocol and privacy.
Using the testimony as an illustration, Pastor Enenche emphasised the importance of combining spiritual support with national security efforts.
