Funmilayo: I Knew They Were Going To Kill Her, I Never Knew They Harvested Their Organs–Fajemirokun

according to a report by Punch Newspaper on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, Victor Fajemirokun, man friend of the late officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Lasisi Funmilayo, has given details on why he lured her and her daughter, Sewa, to the place where they were killed by herbalists in Osun State.

Fajemirokun spoke after he was paraded by the police, alongside the two herbalists linked to the crime.

Victor Fajemirokun, aged forty, was presented by the Osun State Police Command together with two herbalists identified as Gboyega Daramola and Sunday James.

The three were paraded at the command headquarters in Osogbo, where police officers stated that the suspects had been under investigation over the deaths of the woman and her daughter.

Victor Fajemirokun, an Osogbo-based businessman, said he took the deceased from Ogun State to Ijebu-Jesa in Osun State after receiving information from a Muslim cleric.

The cleric reportedly told him that Funmilayo had used spiritual means to affect his progress, and that her continued presence in his life would block any chance of success for him, he said this claim made him believe he needed to take action.

Victor Fajemirokun said he left his home in Osogbo after informing his wife that he was travelling for prayers in Ikoyi, Osun State.

He stated that his main reason for inviting Funmilayo from Ogun was to undergo what he believed was spiritual cleansing.

According to him, he wanted to free himself from what he described as the spiritual hold he believed the deceased had on him.

Victor Fajemirokun said the plan changed when they arrived at the location where the herbalists were waiting.

He stated that he realised the woman would be killed, but claimed he did not understand the full plan before leaving Osun.

He said he had been influenced by the cleric’s warning and believed he needed to undergo cleansing to recover his fortune and progress.

Victor Fajemirokun said he left the scene after the killings and went to a mountain in Ikoyi, where he stayed briefly before travelling to Ibadan.

He said he felt as though he had been under spiritual influence and did not fully understand his actions at the time.

According to him, he became aware of the organ harvesting through reports he later heard, which made him decide to return home.

Victor Fajemirokun and the two herbalists remain in police custody as investigations continue.

The police command said further updates would follow as officers work to determine the full details surrounding the deaths of the FRSC officer and her daughter.

He said: “After killing them, I ran to a mountain in Ikoyi. It was from there that I went to Ibadan. It was as if I was hypnotised. I never really wanted to do that. So, when we got there, I knew that they were going to kill her. I never knew they harvested their organs. I only heard that on the news, and that was when I decided to come back home.”
