In a brief statement posted on its official Facebook page on Wednesday, January 22, 2026, the Authority explained that this price adjustment is intended to uphold and enhance the quality of its service delivery.

According to the Authority, the updated charges pertain to various services, including first-time registration, updates to personal information, replacement of the Ghana Card, nationality updates, and registration for non-citizen cards.
