A lady has sparked reactions online after sharing her thoughts on the growing shift to solar energy due to frequent power outages.
In a video circulating online, she said she won’t be surprised if the government eventually decides to start taxing people who install solar inverters in their homes.
According to her, the ongoing electricity challenges have pushed many households to move away from generators and begin installing solar panels and inverter systems.
“I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if in the next couple of months the government decides to put a tax on people who own solar inverters in their homes,” she said.
She added that the constant power outages have made many Nigerians look for alternative energy solutions, leading to the increasing use of solar systems in homes.
