Nollywood actress Debbie Shokoya has shared her thoughts after socialite Yhemo Lee posted a video advising youths on the risks of hickeys.
In the viral Instagram video, Yhemo Lee warned young people to be cautious when engaging in hickeys, highlighting that not everyone may react safely.
He said, “I know that we are in a new generation, which is fantastic. And youths like to explore to do things that are different from back in the day. I want you to know that you need to do a background check before you allow your partners to give you a hickey.
There are people with a history of madness in their family; if you allow such a bite on your neck. One of my friends in the University almost lost his oesophagus and intestines to it.
A word is enough for the wise.”
REACTING to the video, Debbie Shokoya admitted she struggles to understand the fascination with hickeys.
She shared on social media, “I had to go on Google after seeing @yhemo_lee’s video. Mi o understand o! Una go nack finish, still con bite unaself join. E be like say I no dey woke o! I can’t relate. As In…Koyemi. E Tun Ge Ara Yin Je Ni? After The Whole Primary Assignment, Una Still Dey Hickey Abi Wetin Una Dey Call Am. E Be Like Say Na Only Me No Fit Relate.”
