Comedian I Go Save vents on Nigeria?s worsening power situation

Nigerian comedian I Go Save has taken to social media to express frustration over the country’s electricity situation.

“Since birth as a Nigerian, these past few years are the worst of power failure of all times,” he wrote. According to him, many places have been without light for weeks, months, or even years. He questioned how businesses that rely entirely on government electricity survive under these conditions.

He also pointed out the disparity between government facilities and ordinary citizens: “Aso Rock has installed solar/inverter; Ministry of Power uses generator; most government houses are powered by generators, and their family members or friends are the diesel suppliers or contractors.”

Ending on a note of concern, he asked: “Are we ever going to have stable electricity?”
