Nigeria’s Super Eagles are set to compete in the Unity Cup this May, where they will face India and Jamaica.
The team, led by head coach Eric Chelle, will be making their third consecutive appearance in the tournament.
The West African side heads into the competition as defending champions, having won the last two editions.
The Unity Cup was revived last year for the first time since 2004, when Nigeria won the inaugural edition of the tournament.
In the 2025 edition held in London, the Super Eagles defeated rivals Ghana 2-1 in the semi-final.
They went on to beat Jamaica 5-4 on penalties in the final after a 2-2 draw in regular time.
Details regarding the venue and full fixtures for this year’s tournament are yet to be announced by the organisers.
The Super Eagles were also in action last month in international friendlies, recording a 2-1 victory over Iran and playing out a 2-2 draw against Jordan.
