Seyi Law Tackles Isaac Fayose Over Call For Tinubu’s Resignation Or Impeachment

Nigerian comedian Seyi Law has tackled businessman Isaac Fayose after he demanded that President Bola Tinubu step down or be removed from office.

Isaac Fayose had earlier posted a video online, saying many Nigerians can no longer afford to use their cars.

According to him, the high increase in petrol prices has forced people off the roads, leaving parts of Lagos unusually less busy.

He maintained that the situation has become so difficult that the president should either resign or be impeached by the Senate.

Responding on his X page, Seyi Law argued that the lighter traffic has nothing to do with hardship, but rather improvements in infrastructure.

The comedian pointed to the introduction of the city’s blue and red rail lines, saying they have reduced the number of vehicles on the roads.

He also highlighted ongoing road upgrades, including work on the Lekki-Epe Expressway and the coastal highway project.

According to him, these developments are responsible for the reduced congestion in the commercial hub.

Seyi Law wrote, “Anybody whose brain is functioning knows that since the blue and red metro lines started working and many roads were repaired and constructed for example the Lekki-Epe Expressway and coastal highway has caused traffic to reduce on the roads.”

However, his comments didn’t sit well with many social media users, who criticised him and accused him of being insensitive.

KanyiDaily recalls that Seyi Law recently apologised for saying Nigeria is safer under President Bola Tinubu than 10 years ago.
