Yinka Theisen, the ex-fiance of actor Linc Edochie, has reacted to an audio recording of her purportedly threatening to shoot certain people.
In the audio recording making the round online, the mother of two is heard lamenting over the hate and targeted attacks from her ‘own people’ before threatening to buy a gun to shoot people or hire someone to do the shooting.
“I don’t play. I ‘m serious. By the time I buy a f*cking gun and go out and f*cking shoot them and hire people to shoot their fucking a**,” she said in the recording.
Breaking her silence in a Facebook post on Tuesday, April 21, Yinka claimed the recording was selectively edited and the words had been taken out of context to create false narratives about her.
Yinka alleged that her ex, Link’s former sister-in-law, May Edochie and her followers published only a part of the message and not the entire one, adding that she was being unfairly targeted because she’s Yoruba.
According to Yinka, the woman she was talking to in the audio was hired by May’s sister and dislikes Yul Edochie and his second wife.
She further claimed that the person had wanted her to publicly apologize to May.
She went on to slam Linc, calling him a ‘cowardly man, who can’t defend his brother.’
She reiterated her support for Yul and his wife, saying nobody can stop her from defending the couple.
“Just to update everyone! Some of those jobless followers of Mary are sharing a voice note of me being upset. They play part of the video and not the entire one to misled people,” she wrote.
“In that video I was upset about Igbo women going after me. I later explained that even in American and being married to a white man I never experienced such hate from some people who are supposed to be my people. I told the person I have two accounts.
“One account is an Igbo account supporting Nnamdi Kanu. That until this present display of hate, I have always had a soft spot for Igbo people.
“Mary and her followers publish the beginning of the message and not the entire one for a reason. The entire message to the olodo that published it was about targeting me because I am Yoruba. Mary and her followers are unhinged, trying to prove I am what I am not.
“The person they should be focused on is the one who proposed to me after only knowing me for a short time. That is my irritation with this cowardly man!
“He knows me very well and join others to speak ill of me because he is a coward. A coward who can’t defend his younger brother.
“I don’t expect much from him. I will not stop defending Ezedike and his gorgeous wife. Let them lie that I have lived in an asylum all my life, they will NOT stop me.
“I know exactly who I was talking to in that recorded message, someone who I later found out dislikes Ezedike and Ijele with a passion and wanted me to publicly apologize to their street quin.
“This person even spoke to Ezedike’s brother. She is a woman employed by Blessing, their quin’s sister!”
