Traumatized man from Nakuru emotionally narrates how he found the lifeless body of his wife among the victims of a car accident.
Henry Waweru, one of the first responders of the accident, was heartbroken upon learning that his wife, Jacinta Wambui, was among the casualties.
The deceased wife had been returning home from a colleague’s funeral with three others when the tragic incident took place.
The husband revealed that he had no idea his wife had boarded the ill-fated Matatu.
He was just trying to help rescue the victims of the accident but was shocked to stumble upon his wife’s lifeless body.
‘I am still in disbelief. I was unaware that my wife was in that vehicle until we began the rescue efforts. People were looking at me, but I paid no attention, thinking nothing of it,” he claimed.
The loss was further compounded by the fact that eight individuals from the same village were among the deceased.
