They were together and en route home when a dispute arose, leading to a fight that intensified at their residence.
According to police reports, the two men struck her in the head and chest with their fists, knocking her to the ground.
Neighbors who were watching helplessly were forced to alert the police to the ongoing assault.
She was rescued and taken to the hospital, where she ultimately succumbed to her injuries from the incident that occurred on June 30.
