A couple of men who say they are “simps” have revealed what they are doing to have good marriages, while stating that they enjoy better marriages than alpha males who call themselves “traditional masculine men”.
One man on X wrote: “Me wey be SIMP Dey enjoy wetin masculine men Dey find from submissive women since 1960… dem never still see am
“My own enjoyment and peace Dey come without struggle, raising veins and the need for enforcement… it flows naturally.”
Another man agreed and shared his own reality.
He wrote: “I was shocked the day my colleagues back in Naija told me that: Guy, amongst all of us, na you only marry beta wife. Na you we dey always complain give!
“I was like, all of una na traditional men naa, make una enjoy!
“Me and my wife na freestyle gangstas! We believe that there is no marriage in heaven, so we gats bare it all here.
“I dey wash pants join. I dey iron baby pants/socks after washing them. I dey iron everybody clothes for house. She makes the best fucking food and snacks that all of you still rush to share with me at work.
“She knows my salary and any other kobo benefits at every stage of my life. But una own no know una salary! You all want your wives to be calling you ‘My Lord.’
“How do you want to know Peace? They were just looking at me!”
