What God Told Me About APC In Nigeria – Primate Elijah Ayodele

The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has warned that internal supremacy battles within the All Progressives Congress (APC) could trigger division within the ruling party.

Speaking during a recent church service, Ayodele cautioned that unresolved leadership struggles and competing interests may weaken the party’s cohesion ahead of future political contests. According to him, “See, fight with separate APC, APC will bring division to themselves because of supremacy.”

The cleric explained that supremacy battles, if not properly managed, often create factions and distrust among party stakeholders. He said the APC must be careful to avoid infighting that could erode its strength at both the national and state levels.

Ayodele stressed that political parties thrive on unity and shared purpose, warning that personal ambitions and power tussles could overshadow collective goals. He noted that disagreements over control, influence, and decision-making structures might intensify if leaders fail to prioritize reconciliation and dialogue.

The APC, which has remained a dominant force in Nigeria’s political landscape since taking power at the federal level in 2015, has experienced internal disputes in the past. Political observers say supremacy struggles are not uncommon within large parties, particularly as elections approach and alignments begin to shift.

Ayodele urged party elders and influential stakeholders to intervene early to prevent fragmentation. He advised leaders to adopt inclusive strategies and transparent processes to manage internal competition. According to him, unchecked rivalry could give opposition parties an advantage.

He further warned that divisions within a ruling party could have broader implications for governance and policy implementation. Internal crises, he said, often distract leaders from focusing on national development and service delivery.

The cleric, known for his outspoken predictions on political matters, has consistently offered commentary on party dynamics and electoral outcomes. His statements frequently spark discussion within political circles, with supporters interpreting them as cautionary guidance and critics viewing them as speculative.

While the APC leadership has not officially responded to Ayodele’s latest remarks, analysts note that managing internal unity remains a critical task for any political party seeking long-term stability.

As political activities continue across the country, Ayodele’s warning highlights the delicate balance between ambition and unity within party structures, underscoring the need for careful handling of supremacy issues to prevent avoidable divisions.
