Go And Tell Me Any Road Obi Built 8yrs Ago That Anybody Is Driving On Today, He Can’t Show It-Sowore

Omoyele Sowore, the 2023 presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), has once again taken aim at Peter Obi, this time questioning the impact of his eight-year rule as Anambra State governor from 2006 to 2014.

In a video shared by TV Platinum, Sowore claimed Obi left no enduring infrastructure legacy. He argued that no school built during Obi’s tenure stands today as a reputable institution where parents including Obi himself would be comfortable enrolling their children. Sowore also alleged that no hospital constructed under Obi is dependable for medical care, even for the former governor.

He further criticized the quality of roads built during Obi’s administration, insisting that none remain in good condition for use. Sowore framed these points as proof that Obi’s governance lacked long-term vision and sustainable development.

Beyond infrastructure, Sowore maintained that Obi has failed to prove himself as a strong opposition figure at the national level, accusing him of focusing more on political popularity than on concrete solutions to Nigeria’s challenges. He suggested that Obi’s political brand is more about perception than real achievement, warning Nigerians not to be swayed by campaign rhetoric without evidence of tangible results.

These remarks add to Sowore’s long-running criticisms of Obi, highlighting a deepening rivalry among opposition leaders as they position themselves ahead of future elections.
