Yul Edochie, a veteran Nollywood actor, has stated that he will not support Peter Obi in the 2027 presidential election because of what God told him.
In an interview with the KaaTruths Show, Edochie said he works closely with God and God speaks to him. He said God specifically directed him to support President Bola Tinubu in 2027.
Edochie said he and Peter Obi are from the same tribe and they are both from Anambra State. He said he respects Obi very much but he will not support him.
In Edochie’s words: “I work with God a lot, believe me God speaks to me. I may not look it but His people usually don’t look it. Forget the fake ones who will always tell you ‘I’m a man of God’, the real ones don’t make noise, the ones that God talks to. God has spoken to me about this, He has shown me who to support and I don’t mean to be disrespectful but God did not show me Peter Obi, he showed me President Bola Tinubu and said ‘Stay here, give him all the support'”
