Activist and African Action Congress (AAC) presidential hopeful Omoyele Sowore has sharply criticized former Kano State Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, mocking him for disclosing that his daughter advised him to ally with Peter Obi ahead of the 2023 elections. Sowore described Kwankwaso’s admission as evidence of political weakness and atrophy.

Sowore, however, interpreted the revelation as an admission of diminished personal political acumen, urging Kwankwaso to step aside if family members now guide major decisions.
Sowore said: “Mr. @KwankwasoRM, if your ‘daughter’ now has to tell you who to work for in 2027, then perhaps she, who obviously knows better than you, according to your own postulation, should be the one running for President. Clearly, you have become politically atrophied. Liars shall not make heaven! #AACOurParty.”.
Sowore’s rebuke comes after Kwankwaso, a key figure in ongoing opposition realignments, publicly revealed his daughter’s counsel during the last election cycle on an interview with Arise Television.
In the statement that triggered the backlash, Kwankwaso said: “You will be surprised, even during the 2023 election, in my own house, my own daughter was telling me to go and work with Peter Obi.
