A Jamaican woman has sparked conversations online after emotionally opening up about life in Canada, describing it as exhausting, lonely and mentally draining.
In a viral video, she said many people abroad are trapped in debt, working nonstop just to survive while chasing what society calls a “successful life.”
According to her, owning a house, car and building a career now feels more like “slavery” than freedom, as people spend most of their lives paying bills and loans without truly enjoying life.
She also lamented the harsh weather, rising cost of living and pressure to keep working just to avoid losing everything, adding that many immigrants and longtime residents are silently struggling mentally and financially.
